About the Waste Management Project:
Mathare does not have proper infrastructure for residents’ waste management.
Mathare also has poor sanitation and storm water systems.
The housing structures in Mathare are not built safely or to code.
Our solution:
With more investment in infrastructure and sanitation systems, and ensuring their sustainable management, Mathare residents can be safer and healthier. Mathare can also stand as a pioneer for other communities.
